High Noon is a project about the city of Luxembourg. Most of the photos have been made during lunch time while light conditions are actually at their worst. It's a documentation of what is going on in this city in the heart of Europe while most of the people are enjoying a meal, free time or running from or to their work place. The project will not be limited on street photography, but I will also put on display some urban landscapes and pinhole shots from the streets of Luxembourg. It's a project which is constantly evolving and is still going on. That's why some of the photos on display will probably disappear at a given time and be replaced by other.
I hope you will enjoy this little trip.
On my first day in Iran while wandering with a good friend through the streets of Tehran we met a funny guy who at first started chatting with us about tattoos and after a few minutes he wanted us to follow him while telling us something about wrestling. We ended up in a gym with the Iranian freestyle wrestle team. Three hours later we left after having met some great people and having enjoyed watching the athletes doing their training.
So here I was in Umbria (Italy) and a cousin of mine, who grows truffles asks me if I would be interested in joining him one early morning for a truffle hunt. He knows this guy who is said to be, with his dogs, the best truffle hunter in Umbria. Two days later at 7 a.m. here I was standing in a secret location under oak trees witnessing two dogs with their master hunting for truffles. I was told that these dogs could go on for five to six hours before getting bored. And indeed the hounds seemed to have a lot of fun doing this job and I must say they were very efficient. One hour and a quarter later 1,5 kg of truffles had found their way into a bag. I'm very thankful to have been given the opportunity to witness this rather unusual hunt.
